I’m more of a dog person than a cat person; but, I’ve always admired the elegant beauty and graceful movements of all cats. Big or little, they are magnificent creatures to behold! Maybe my tendency to stay clear of stray cats stems my mom’s supernatural fear of all cats. She tried to teach me that cats embody evil spirits. Of course, I don’t believe that!
But, I do have a friend who has a beautiful tabby that is definitely a little she-devil! Her husband has the scars on his hands and arms to prove it; and, she almost got me one night on my way to the bathroom when I was a guest at their house. : )
Nevertheless, I still admire cats—and love to play with kittens as much as puppies!

CONCLUSION
I was not fortunate enough to have kittens or cats for very long when I was growing up, mostly due to my mom’s superstitious fear of them. It’s my dream to get a kitten and a puppy and raise them together when I am finally ready to retire and also start a garden. Then, the four of us (including my boyfriend) can all play together in our lovely little garden! These quotes are great! Thanks for putting them up.
I have cats now and love them all but, in the beginning, I wasn’t so fond of them. Nonetheless, I took in a cat that wasn’t welcome in her home anymore. I realized that she had won me over the day she sat on my chair so I sat on the floor.
