100 Dog Quotes
Email this article to a friend
Man’s best friend, the dog is still the most popular pet in the world. No wonder I’ve found more quotes about dogs than for any other topics I’ve researched for prior “quotes” lists!
They’re cute, loyal, brave, reliable, cheerful, trusting, hardworking, and protective when trained properly. They have labored side by side with humans—not to mention walked side by side with us as our constant companions—since we formed the happy union about 100,000 years ago, when the wolf and the dog first split into different species in China.
(Cats are pretty cool, too! I’m doing “100 Cat Quotes” next.) So, without further ado, let’s get right to the dog quotes!

My favorite was a little sandy runty pitbull with the saddest eyes you ever saw! Not at all vicious. Lazy was more like it! But, oh so adorable! And, friendly as can be! Hi Sara! I didn’t know you have a dog!
I’m so looking forward to retirement because of the puppy (and kitten) I’ve promised myself. There are too many great breeds out there; it’s hard to decide! I’ve been partial to pugs for a long time, but I recently learned about the puggle. Then, again, it’s hard to find a more lovable, loyal dog than the good old mutt!
